We have a special support opportunity for our followers and donors today. We have been contacted by a family of 12 from Allen that just lost almost all of their belongings in a fire. Their trailer has been destroyed and yet, they are still residing in a small section that was not as affected.
This family has given us a list of what they need most: clothes for the 9 children and 3 adults, kitchen and home goods such as linens, pots and pans, cutlery, and dishes, or a monetary donation that can be used to repair the home. A detailed list can be found below.
The community of Allen is small but mighty. We want to support this family as much as we can and know that our followers and donors have some of the biggest hearts out of anyone. Please take a look at the list attached, and see how you can help this wonderful family in their time of need.
All physical donations need to be new or gently used (except underwear and hygiene products - those need to be NEW and SEALED) and can be sent to the Allen Youth Center at 406 Water Tower Rd Allen, SD 57714. Please include a short note detailing that the package is for the family affected by the fire.
